New graduate hire

Please tell me what kind of company Advanced Media is.

This is a company where you can gain a wide range of experience and improve yourself.
I was given the opportunity to take on new challenges even as a new employee, and when I felt unsure, senior employees supported me. This sense of security allowed me to proactively tackle new and difficult tasks without fear.
Thanks to this environment, I feel that the habit of thinking for myself has taken root and the scope of my work has expanded. Currently, I have more junior colleagues and they are approaching the position of the senior colleagues who supported me in the past, so I would like to provide an environment where my junior colleagues can take on challenges with confidence.

Please tell us about your current job and what is rewarding about it.

Currently, I work in sales proposing voice recognition solutions for contact centers. I introduce the products to customers directly and communicate with sales agents, thinking up proposals together so that customers can adopt the solutions.
I feel rewarded when a customer decides to introduce a product I proposed to them, or when a customer happily tells me after introducing the product that "the introduction has made our work more efficient." The product is large-scale and expensive to introduce, so the work is difficult, but I feel happy when I can feel that I have contributed to the customer.

Please tell us what you value in your work.

I am conscious of doing work that is easy to understand both inside and outside the company.
For example, when I consult with my senior colleagues about something that is bothering me at work, I organize my thoughts in advance so that they can support me more easily. Also, when I ask my junior colleagues to do something, I tell them specifically what the purpose is and by when I want them to respond.
On the other hand, when I'm outside the company, I listen to detailed interviews with customers about their issues, etc. I then try to explain in a way that is easy for them to imagine how their issues can be solved by introducing our products.

What are your future goals (dreams)?

In the future, I would like to develop various markets so that people will say, "When you think of voice recognition for telephones, you think of AmiVoice." To achieve this, I think it is important to first build up a track record of implementation. Currently, we are steadily increasing awareness through promotional activities and news releases.
We also constantly strive to create presentations that communicate the value of our products to customers.

Daily schedule

10:00

Product introduction for customers

We will provide explanations and demonstrations to customers using materials. Most of the time, we will do this via web conferences, but we may also visit customers' locations to introduce things in person.

11:00

Internal meeting for exhibiting at an exhibition

In order to raise awareness of our products, we had the opportunity to exhibit at an exhibition, so we held a meeting to discuss the exhibit contents.

12:00

Regular Group Meetings

The group holds regular meetings every day to discuss any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.

12:30

Email support

I will reply to the email I received this morning.

13:00

Lunch break

I often eat lunch at convenience stores or restaurants in Sunshine City.

14:00

Attending junior's business negotiations

I attend meetings with my juniors to provide additional explanations and answer questions. Since the products we handle have many functions and require in-depth knowledge of the systems, senior employees often attend meetings until the second year of employment.

15:00

Regular meetings for business improvement

We hold a meeting once a month to reduce the workload. Every day, we go about our work thinking about whether there are any tasks that can be shared or whether there is any waste that can be reduced.

16:00

Meeting with the agency

We hold regular meetings with our distributors once a month.
A distributor is a partner company that works with us to market and sell our products and services. They handle customers who are unable to be reached by us on our own, such as customers who live far away.
At regular meetings, we share information on projects and coordinate the latest product information.
We exchange ideas to solve customer problems from the perspectives of both "our company, which knows the product inside out," and "our sales agents, which know the customer inside out."

17:00

External meetings for customer proposals

We hold strategy meetings with distributors to propose solutions to customers. Together, we think about what we should do to get Advanced Media, who knows the product well, and distributors, who know the customers well, to adopt the product.

18:00

Meeting with juniors

I work with my junior colleagues to discuss how to proceed with the projects they are in charge of and provide them with advice.

19:00

Business end
