The joint development of an "Interactive Nursing Assist System" by Advanced Media Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Advanced Media") and the Onshi Foundation Saiseikai Kumamoto Hospital (hereinafter "Saiseikai Kumamoto Hospital"), a social welfare corporation, won the Grand Prize at the 25th Japan Society for Medical Informatics Nursing Academic Conference.
As the promotion of medical digital transformation becomes even more important against the backdrop of work style reforms and other factors, one challenge for improving nurses' work is to reduce the time it takes to understand patient information.
In this environment, Advanced Media and Saiseikai Kumamoto Hospital began working together to develop an "interactive nursing assistance system" that can quickly obtain patient information via smartphone.
This system is equipped with functions such as "patient selection function," "test order information display function," and "reminder function," making it possible to quickly grasp patient information and test schedules even in situations where electronic medical records cannot be viewed.*It is equipped with AmiVoice, an AI voice recognition system, allowing you to use highly accurate voice input in various places on the system.

As a result of function verification, the time required to confirm orders was reduced compared to when electronic medical records were used. In addition, the ability to instantly view a list of tests for the entire ward reduced the time required to check test schedules, and the reminder function prevented tests from being overlooked by sending notifications about pending tests.

This time, we reported on the process we have gone through in building new functions after extensive discussions with Advance Media, with the aim of improving the efficiency of nurses' work.
We are currently continuing trial operation and adding and improving functions according to the needs of ward nurses.
