"AI Ibaraki Hiyori" is an AI version of the Ibaraki Prefecture-certified Vtuber "Ibaraki Hiyori," which realizes free conversation using natural speech by linking ChatGPT to the "AI Avatar AOI" system. It was first unveiled at the Ibaraki Prefecture booth at "Niconico Chokaigi 2023" held in 2023, and became a hot topic.
In addition, at the "Niconico Chokaigi 2024" held this year, it was equipped with an image recognition function, enabling diverse communication. This time, in conjunction with the "Ibaraki After Destination Campaign (Ibaraki After DC)" to be held from Tuesday, October 10st, it has been decided that "AI Ibaraki Hiyori", which specializes in introducing local sake products, will be installed in a brick-and-mortar store for the first time as part of the hospitality for customers visiting Ibaraki Prefecture during the period.
While trying out AI dialogue at various events and exhibitions, we found that many people were hesitant to talk to AI. Therefore, in order to promote dialogue between AI and customers, we aimed to stimulate communication between people and AI by having "AI Ibara Hiyori" talk to customers.
When you approach "AI Ibara Hiyori," it will analyze your features using image recognition and recommend the best local sake for your gender and age. When you tap the purchase button, it will read out the product name and provide instructions on how to purchase it. You can also tap "Ask a question by voice" to freely ask questions through voice dialogue.
AI Ibara Hiyori will analyze the characteristics of the customer based on the registered product information and recommend local sake according to the characteristics, such as "For you, who likes a refreshing white shirt and blue neck strap, (AI Ibara Hiyori recommended brand) Junmai Ginjo Sake is perfect for you." Product information can be easily registered and edited from the store's management screen, making it easy to add new products or delete out-of-stock products.
As the conversational AI market expands, Advanced Media will actively promote new initiatives with companies and local governments using "AI Avatar AOI."
