While demand for construction is strong in the run-up to the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the construction industry is facing a chronic labor shortage. Over the next 10 years, 340 million of the 110 million skilled workers are expected to leave their jobs (according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism), and Japan's overall working population is expected to decline further due to the declining birthrate and aging population. Therefore, the promotion of IT to improve productivity has become an urgent task for the construction industry as a whole.

Building inspection is an essential and important process for preventing structural defects and maintaining quality of buildings. However, at many construction sites, inspection records are still created by hand, creating a large workload. In particular, finishing inspections require a huge amount of time and effort, as the work is inspected multiple times to ensure that the work has been completed according to the drawings, and instructions for corrections are given. This time, we have developed a building inspection solution "AmiVoice Super Inspector (for building finish inspection)" that utilizes voice recognition, with the aim of increasing the efficiency and quality of inspections and inspections.

A building inspection solution for tablet devices that utilizes voice recognition. You can easily create inspection records by simply selecting the inspection/inspection location from the drawings loaded into the app, and talking about the parts and findings all at once. In addition to text, you can also take photos with the tablet camera. Input data is centrally managed on a server on the cloud, allowing for quick information management, sharing, and work throughout the company. Data can be searched, sorted, and converted to PDF from a PC browser, allowing data to be output for each residence or vendor. This allows for quick and accurate creation of work instructions. By significantly streamlining both inspection input and office work, the work time can be reduced by 50% (according to our research) compared to traditional handwritten work.

① Enter the inspection items by simply tapping on the indicated area and speaking. Significantly reduces recording time.
Just tap the inspection/inspection location from the drawing and say the location, part, and details all at once, and the items will be automatically sorted and text will be entered quickly. Equipped with a specialized dictionary for building inspections, it boasts high recognition accuracy. Since it uses a stand-alone format, it can be used even in locations where there is no internet environment.

② Post-inspection work at the field office is significantly reduced.
Inspection data sent from a tablet device can be automatically sorted by residence and vendor and output as a PDF, greatly reducing the work to be done at the field office after the inspection. There is no longer any need for things like fair copying, copying for each number of contractors and number of residences, and marker checks for assigning vendors, which were previously performed.

③Reducing the items carried during work. Consolidated on one tablet device.
Since drawings, materials necessary for inspection, forms, etc. are stored on the tablet terminal, it is possible to reduce the number of items carried during work. If you need to take a photo of an inspection item, you can use the tablet camera function and link the photo to the indicated area.

 Pre-orders for the Android version will begin on December 12th, and official release will begin in late January 17. The iOS version is scheduled to be released in spring 2016.
