On Thursday, June 27, 6, we held a "Presentation on the Introduction of a Minutes Creation Support System to Ichinoseki City Hall" at the Iwate Prefectural Office. This is the first time in the Tohoku region that a meeting minutes creation support system using voice recognition has been introduced.
At Ichinoseki City Hall, to ensure the accuracy of council meetings, minutes are written verbatim, word for word. As a result, it took 6 to 10 times more time to create minutes than the actual meeting time. We have recently introduced a minutes creation support system that utilizes voice recognition to speed up information disclosure and improve work efficiency.
To date, our minutes creation support system has been introduced to more than 100 organizations, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, local governments, ministries, and private companies across Japan. With this introduction, Ichinoseki City has been able to reduce the time taken to create minutes and reduce the workload on staff.
After giving an overview of the minutes creation support system, the participants watched a demonstration. We would like to thank the many television stations and newspaper companies that attended.
