Facilitating communication between Thai people and local Japanese people
Advanced Media Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Suzuki Kiyoyuki; hereinafter "Advanced Media") is pleased to announce that its Thai subsidiary AMIVOICE THAI CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Bangkok, Thailand; CEO: Suzuki Yasumasa; hereinafter "AMIVOICE THAI") has donated iPads equipped with the communication support app "UD Talk," which utilizes Advanced Media's AI voice recognition system AmiVoice, to the police station in Sriracha, a city with a population of approximately 7,000 Japanese people.
The intermediary between AMIVOICE THAI and Sriracha Police Station for this donation was MASA JAPAN CO., LTD. (headquarters: Sriracha, Kingdom of Thailand, hereinafter referred to as MASA JAPAN), a Japanese driver dispatch company in Thailand.

Donation to Sriracha Police Station
Sriracha is located about a two-hour drive from the capital Bangkok and is the city with the second largest Japanese population in Thailand. However, when Japanese residents of Sriracha visit the local police, they face the challenge of being unable to communicate effectively due to the language barrier.

"UD Talk" is an app provided by Shamrock Records Co., Ltd. that supports "UD (Universal Design)" communication. It uses voice recognition to convert voices into text, facilitating communication for people with hearing impairments, and also supports various types of communication through automatic translation into multiple languages.
One of the voice recognition engines that can be selected within "UD Talk" is Advanced Media's AI voice recognition AmiVoice.
MASA JAPAN, which acted as an intermediary between AMIVOICE THAI and Sriracha Police Station, is a Japanese driver dispatch company that provides Japanese-language services and is used by many Japanese companies based in Thailand. In order to solve the communication issues faced by many Japanese people who are posted to Thailand and to promote smooth communication between Japanese and Thai people, AMIVOICE THAI plans to promote the use of "UD Talk" in Thailand with the cooperation of MASA JAPAN.
