[Comment from Shingo Fujii, Mayor of Toride]
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone at Advanced Media for their generous support in terms of equipment and for their various technical guidance and cooperation in promoting the Demotech strategy of the Toride City Council. In recent years, the various affairs of Toride City's executive department have become more sophisticated and diverse, and human resources are limited. We need to standardize things that can be standardized as much as possible, and use the power of AI to save labor so that we can allocate more resources to creative areas and business fields that will be needed in the future. think.
We believe that the development of Advanced Media's speech recognition technology, centered on transcription, holds great promise. I believe that there are many fields in which this technology can be applied in the future, so I would be grateful if we could coordinate each field one by one and further collaborate.
[Comment from Hisayo Saito, Chairman of Toride City Council]
Advanced Media has updated the camera equipment since November of last year, and the images are now very clear. Thank you. We have received comments of joy from citizens, such as ``It's really amazing'' and ``The images are now clearer.''
In addition, since 18, we have been using AmiVoice to support the creation of meeting minutes. Before its introduction, the work was a heavy burden on parliamentary secretariat staff, but I have heard that the technological innovation is actually leading to a reduction in workload and costs.
The assembly is also aiming for more exchange of opinions and open assembly with citizens, but there are various barriers. I think that one way to remove that barrier is to have subtitles based on voice recognition results appear on the screen, making it possible for people with hearing disabilities to feel closer to the Diet even online. Masu.
I would like you to cooperate with us in the parliamentary reform based on the Demotech Strategy, which we in the parliament are working hard on, and I would like to do my best to work on a new democratic parliamentary reform.
