AI voice recognition engine AmiVoice® adopted for autonomous human support robot “Aeolus Robot”

Advanced Media Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Chairman and President: Kiyoyuki Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as Advanced Media)'s AI voice recognition engine AmiVoice has been developed by Aeolus Robotics Corporation (Headquarters: San Jose, USA, CEO: Alexander Huang) (Alexander Huang)'s autonomous human support robot "Aeolus Robot". It performs speech recognition in Japanese and English to support the work of nursing care staff.

Due to the declining birthrate and aging of the population, Japan is on the verge of becoming a super-aging society in which a quarter of the population will be over 2025 years old by 4. In response to this "1 problem," the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications are promoting the use of IT in the medical and nursing care industries as an important national policy. Aeolus Robotics Corporation began demonstration experiments of the "Aeolus Robot" at nursing care facilities in November 75 in order to contribute to the promotion of IT utilization in the nursing care industry.

"Aeolus Robot" is an autonomous human support robot equipped with advanced AI sensors and a variety of functions. Advanced Media's AI voice recognition engine AmiVoice has been adopted for the Japanese and English voice recognition of the Aeolus Robot. We support various nursing care tasks by listening to requests from nursing staff and residents, such as ``unlock the wheels'' and ``leave space.''

The speech recognition engine can be customized for each facility, and can recognize technical terms and terms unique to each facility with high accuracy. Voice recognition starts automatically when you say "Hello, robot", so it can be operated without contact.
