Advanced Media and Audio-Technica Team Up
In response to Advanced Media's strategy to strengthen sales of its ``Infrared Conferencing System ``ATCS-50,'' Advanced Media Corporation (Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Suzuki Kiyoyuki, hereinafter referred to as ``Advanced Media'') and Audio-Technica Corporation (Machida-shi, Tokyo, President and CEO: Matsushita Kazuo, hereinafter referred to as ``Audio-Technica'') have formed an alliance between the two companies' systems to increase the compatibility between the two systems, in order to differentiate the company from its competitors by incorporating Advanced Media's ``AmiVoice Council Minutes Creation Support System'' as an option in the system. Advanced Media will also work to provide a total solution package to local governments and public institutions that further improves the ease of implementation, ease of use, and voice recognition accuracy of its system.
Advanced Media provides the "AmiVoice Minutes Creation Support System" as a solution for local governments and public institutions, but the microphone system is essential and important for this system, and especially when there are multiple speakers using multiple microphones, it has been inconvenient to use dedicated software to identify which microphone the voice is coming from, so Advanced Media was looking for a more complete solution in terms of ease of implementation, ease of use, and recognition accuracy. And when Audio-Technica was also looking for ways to differentiate its microphone system from other companies, the two companies reached an agreement on their respective strategies, leading to this collaboration.
This collaboration has enabled us to provide a more complete total solution.
Regarding sales of the "Collaborate" system, Audio-Technica will start selling Advanced Media's AmiVoice Parliamentary Minutes Creation Support System as an option for its infrared conference system "ATCS-50" from October onwards. The price is open, and Audio-Technica expects to achieve sales of 10 million yen this term. The Parliamentary Minutes Creation Support System consists of the AmiVoice Recorder and AmiVoice Rewriter, which are priced at 150 million yen and 50 yen, respectively.
