Realize effective and accurate information transmission with a meeting minutes system that links video, audio, and text information
Advanced Media Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kiyoyuki Suzuki, Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, hereafter referred to as Advanced Media) has formed a business alliance with IBE Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jin Sugawara, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereafter referred to as IBE) in the minutes publishing solutions business. As the first step of the alliance, the two companies will combine IBE's know-how in advanced digital video compression and management technology with Advanced Media's world-class voice recognition technology to jointly develop a solution that centrally manages and distributes video, audio, and text information from various meetings and assemblies, and the service will begin in late April 18.
Through this partnership, the two companies will jointly develop and sell a variety of products and information distribution systems that combine digital video compression and management technology with voice recognition technology, in addition to video minutes solutions, to generate new markets and needs. They will also realize a concrete fusion of Internet and TV media, creating new media for the 21st century. Through the business partnership between the two companies, the sales target for the first five years is 5 billion yen, targeting all industries that are considering creating and publishing minutes, such as local governments, educational institutions, and general companies.
By introducing this solution, it will be easier to publish on the web the contents of discussions at various meetings, including assemblies, where appropriate information disclosure is required, as well as the proceedings of general shareholders' meetings. In addition, as minutes of meetings are published with video, the contents of discussions are easier to understand than information that is only written. As the use of this system to publish the contents of discussions on the web becomes commonplace in local governments and other organizations, citizens will have more options for obtaining information and will be able to access it more easily. With the introduction of the video subtitling distribution system, it is now possible to automatically create barrier-free content (information) that links the minutes and video of parliamentary proceedings.

"AmiVoice®" has been combined with a live video distribution function for parliamentary videos. This makes it possible to distribute live and VOD over the Internet, realizing instantaneous information disclosure. All parliamentary content is transcribed using voice recognition and managed in a database, so it is possible to instantly search for the information you need, such as what you want to know or the parliament you want to watch, using keywords.
