Advanced Media Inc. (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Suzuki Kiyoyuki; hereinafter "Advanced Media") will provide a voice input solution (voice registration and voice conversion functions) for "KoePeta," a new content scheduled to be launched on June 6th (Tuesday) on "AtGames," a game portal site operated by GCREST Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nagasawa Kiyoshi; hereinafter "GCREST"). "KoePeta" is a free online game portal site "AtGames," which has 17 registered users.http://www.atgames.jp/This content allows users to attach their voice to the popular avatar "Selfie" in the app and to their own "My Page." By attaching your voice to "Selfie," you can walk around Selfie Town and hear preset lines, or you can introduce your favorite lines attached to your "My Page" to your friends. This is a new form of entertainment that uses "voice."
[What is KoePeta?]
"KoePeta" is a new content that makes communication between users more fun by converting the voice registered on the user's avatar "Selfie" on @Games or on their personal page and pasting the voice onto "Selfie."
By attaching a voice to "Selphy," users can have "Selphy" speak lines that they have set, or they can introduce their favorite lines that they have attached to their personal page to their friends, making "Selphy" more original. Users can also use it in conjunction with chats and diaries on Selphy Town, further promoting content usage.
In April 2008, a campaign was held to obtain voices that could be used with "Koe Peta," and the "Greetings Edition" Koe Peta of Sakuraba Remi (voice actor: Kugimiya Rie) and Sakuraba Sora (voice actor: Kakihara Tetsuya) was offered, which became a hot topic. The "Greetings Edition" Koe Peta mainly features voices that are often used at @Games, such as greetings and personal page introductions. In addition to the various voices obtained in this campaign, this new service will allow users to use voices based on their own voice.
Going forward, Advanced Media will propose this voice input solution to companies that operate portal sites and community sites that use avatars, and expects to generate sales of 5,000 million yen in the first year.
