Advanced Media Co., Ltd. (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kazuyuki Hasegawa, hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media") and Qualica Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Mitsushi Nishida, hereinafter referred to as "Qualica") have developed Japan's first "spoken language summarization system" that extracts, analyzes, and deletes unnecessary words and sentences from telephone conversations. This system was experimentally introduced in October 2008 to the response content analysis system of Fujifilm Corporation's "Customer Communication Center."

In recent years, as call centers have been faced with increasing needs from customers for risk management, strengthened compliance, and improved customer service quality, there has been an increasing demand for the use of voice recognition technology to convert call content into text.

In this situation, Fujifilm Corporation decided to use Advanced Media's voice recognition technology, which boasts a high recognition rate, in its call centers.AmiVoice®Qualica's unnecessary word analysis and extraction technology, based on text mining, has been highly praised and has been adopted by Fujifilm Corporation's Customer Communication Center.

Conventionally, when converting phone conversations into text using speech recognition technology, hesitations such as "um," "well," and "ah," as well as incomplete utterances such as "Thank you for your time," and "I understand," which are not necessary for analysis, were also converted into text. This system uses Qualica's text mining toolVextMinerThis system uses AI to analyze and extract unnecessary words and sentences, then deletes them using our unique know-how, leaving only the necessary parts. Previously, analyzing and extracting unnecessary words and sentences was done manually, which took a huge amount of time, but this system has made it easier to accurately analyze conversations between customers and operators and customer requests (VOC: Voice Of Customer).

With this delivery as a starting point, Advanced Media and Qualica aim to continue to popularize and expand sales of the "spoken language summary system" across a variety of industries.

This system will be demonstrated at the CRM Demo & Conference (URL:http://www.callcenter-japan.com/) will be exhibited.
