We received cooperation from the St. Luke's International Hospital Gastroenterology Center for this development. Previously, endoscopy reports were created at this facility by keyboard input, and approximately half of the time spent during an endoscopy examination was spent creating the report. By utilizing this system, endoscopy reports can be created by voice input, significantly reducing the burden and time of cumbersome keyboard input. In addition, reports can be created in a shorter time, allowing more examinations to be performed, and we expect this to improve the efficiency of administrative work in the medical field.
"AmiVoice® ExThe " series can be used to input findings for treatments and procedures, create medical certificates, and write replies to referral letters. It is equipped with a dictionary of technical terms such as treatment names, drug names, disease names, and symptoms that are frequently used in each field, achieving high recognition accuracy.
Unlike conventional commercially available voice recognition software, no prior voice registration is required (compatible with any speaker), and it flexibly responds to accents and speaking speeds. In addition, you can easily input and correct your voice using a dedicated hand microphone, and it also has an automatic learning function that increases the recognition rate the more you use it. Voice input is possible not only for endoscope systems, but also for various other applications.
