Finally here! You can now compose emails by voice on your iPhone
Starting in late April 2009, Advanced Media Inc. Recently, mobile terminals that combine mobile phones/PHS and personal digital assistants (PDAs), known as "smartphones," are becoming more and more popular. However, the touch-panel input commonly seen on "smartphones" requires input using a stylus or finger when composing emails, which makes input difficult and time-consuming.
The "Voice Recognition Mail Ver. 0.9" for iPhone that we are releasing this time uses our voice recognition technologyAmiVoice®By combining the unique user interface of the iPhone with the voice recognition function, the cumbersome key input required for composing emails has been reduced, and users can quickly and easily compose emails using their voice. It also has a proper noun registration function and an acoustic learning function, and the more you use it, the more the accuracy of the voice recognition improves.
Advanced Media's "Voice Recognition Mail Ver. 0.9" will be distributed free of charge as a beta service from late April 2009 to allow iPhone users to easily experience the convenience of voice input of emails. After the release of iPhone OS 4 in the summer of 2009, the official version will be released as a paid service.

"Voice Recognition Mail" allows users to register proper nouns such as people's names and place names that are not registered in the dictionary. In addition, names of people registered in the address book are automatically registered in the voice recognition dictionary.
