Advanced Media's "Minutes Creation Support System" now in full operation at all standing committees of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly!

The largest number of committees to date will implement the system at once, 12 in total.

Advanced Media Corporation (headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hasegawa Kazuyuki; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media") has delivered a "minutes-taking support system" to the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly. Starting May 2009, 5, the system will begin operation in 26 committees (12 standing committees, 9 special committees, and the Information Disclosure Promotion Committee), the largest number to date.

In recent years, local governments across the country have continued to face a tough administrative and financial environment. Despite these circumstances, there is a demand to improve resident information services through rapid information disclosure, as well as to improve administrative efficiency within limited budgets and personnel.

The "Minutes Preparation Support System (AmiVoice® Recorder/AmiVoice® Rewriter") has been in use in the General Affairs Committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly since September 18, and from May of this year it will be fully implemented in all 9 committees, including all standing committees.

We believe this is the result of Advanced Media's extensive implementation track record, know-how, security, as well as the track record and economic efficiency of our work over the past two and a half years.

This system has currently been introduced in 29 local governments nationwide, and including private companies, there are 49 users, making it the largest number of users in the country (according to our research). However, the latest deployment in 12 committees of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly will be the largest scale yet for our "minutes-taking support system" for assemblies.

In order to meet the needs of local governments across the country, such as timely information disclosure and improved efficiency in internal operations, Advanced Media will further improve the system by utilizing cutting-edge voice recognition technology and its know-how in building dictionaries for meeting minutes. The company also aims to expand the introduction of the "Minutes Taking Support System" to more than 3 local governments over the next three years.
