Incorporating user feedback to make it even easier to use
Advanced Media Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hasegawa Kazuyuki; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media") has upgraded its meeting minutes creation support system, which it sells to local governments and private companies, to make it even easier to use and more efficient at creating meeting minutes.
The new version will be available for sale from Tuesday, November 2009, 11.
This product has been on sale to local governments since March 2003, and is currently being used by 3 organizations (as of November 57), including not only local governments such as the Hokkaido Prefectural Assembly and the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, but also various government ministries and agencies, and private companies.AmiVoice®This cutting-edge system utilizes AI to automatically convert what is said during meetings into text and create a record of what is said, and has supported the creation of meeting minutes by speeding up the disclosure of information, reducing workload, and cutting costs.
Nowadays, creating minutes is an essential task in all organizational activities, from the perspective of recording and confirming decisions and discussion status, and sharing information, but at the same time, there is a strong demand for operational efficiency and cost reduction. In this upgrade of the minutes creation support system, we have further improved convenience by adding functions not available in other products, in response to the expansion of its uses to local governments, ministries and agencies, and private companies, as well as user requests such as "I want to shorten the editing time" and "I want further improvements to the operability and editing functions."
The summary of this upgrade is as follows:
1. Shortening editing time
•Added automatic file export function
Previously, in stand-alone minutes-creation support systems that were not connected to a server, editing on a computer required the data to be exported all at once after the meeting had ended, but with this system, text can be automatically exported at any time during a meeting in 10-60 minute increments. This means that editing can be started immediately without having to wait for the meeting to end.
2. Improved operability and editing functions
•Consolidation of main operation functions on the top screen
Frequently used functions such as audio repeat playback and speech speed control have been consolidated at the top of the screen based on operating procedures, improving operability.
•Added a function to directly export minutes according to their format (format, font, etc.)
Edited content can now be directly exported to match the customer's minutes format, including vertical/horizontal writing and font information. This eliminates the need for formatting adjustments that were previously required.
We have also added a spelling unification function that automatically corrects words that you want to display consistently, such as "greetings" and "greetings."
•Improved editing function when connected to a server
Until now, client/server meeting minutes support systems only provided audio checks for each utterance when connected to the server, but this latest upgrade has realized the function to import the entire data in one go and check the preceding and following utterances as well. This makes it easier to understand the overall context, and further improves the efficiency of meeting minutes creation.
Advanced Media will release this system to local governments, government ministries and agencies, and general companies across the country, and over the next three years aims to expand the introduction of the minutes-taking support system to more than 3 local governments, government ministries and agencies, and general companies, in order to provide better services, including cost reductions through improved business efficiency.
