Supports iOS4 multitasking / Optimized for iPad screen size
Advanced Media Corporation (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazuyuki Hasegawa; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media") will begin distributing the iPad/iPhone 2009 compatible version of "Voice Recognition Mail ST", a standalone iPhone version that allows users to create documents by voice, which has been well received since its release in July 7. This version has a completely new user interface from the previous version, making it even easier to use. It also adds the ability to post to the personal document management system "Evernote".
This app will be available for sale from Friday, June 2010, 6, for 25 yen (tax included) on the App Store, the download service for iPhone and iPod touch applications operated by Apple, Inc. (Headquarters: California, USA, CEO: Steve Jobs). Users who have already purchased the previous version can upgrade for free.

The changes to the new standalone version of "Voice Recognition Mail ST" for iPhone are as follows:
■The new iOS4 multitasking function is now supported. This means that by having the app running when you use it, you can instantly use the voice recognition function. It is also now easier to paste text into other applications.
■We now support posting to the personal document management system "Evernote."
■The user interface has been adapted to the iPad screen size.
■The interface has been improved, making the VoiceOver function, a text-to-speech feature, even easier to use.
■We have added three operation modes for voice input: "One-touch mode," which starts voice input by simply pressing a button; "Press and hold mode," which allows you to input voice while holding down the button; and "Switch mode," which allows you to turn the microphone on/off.
■We have added a feature to change the font size.
We will continue to develop voice recognition technology in the portable and mobile fields. AmiVoice ® We will continue to promote the further dissemination of this technology.
We are also planning to upgrade our server-based voice recognition email service, "Voice Recognition Mail Ver. 1.0," in the near future.
