Greatly increased vocabulary size improves recognition rate, and "transcription editor" makes editing easy

Compared to the previous model, the vocabulary has been increased by about five times, and the recognition rate has been improved. In addition, new functions such as the "Transcription Editor" have been added, which allows for smooth editing work.

Previous model "AmiVoice®SP" has been well received for its features such as a high recognition rate, no prior voice learning required, recognition accuracy improving the more you use it, input speed 2-3 times faster than keyboard input (according to our company research), and a crisp input interface, and the total number of units sold since its launch in July 2010 has reached approximately 7 (as of the end of September 1). The new product inherits the features of the previous model and further enhances its functions. It can be used for business purposes such as creating various reports and e-mails, as well as for private purposes such as chatting and blogging, and will improve the efficiency of input work regardless of the purpose.

1. Improved voice recognition rate
The dictionary has a vocabulary that is about five times larger than the previous model, improving the recognition rate while maintaining its practicality of being able to input words quickly and easily. For example, it can now recognize the latest terms such as "tethering" and "iPS cells." In addition, it is equipped with a function that automatically detects words that are not registered in the dictionary from existing text files and registers them (unknown word registration assistance function). By using this function, you can further improve the recognition rate by loading text files that you have created in the past.
2. Improved command operability
In addition to conventional voice command operations, it is now possible to input any key or shortcut keys such as Ctrl+C. This makes it possible to perform a variety of operations, such as cut and paste and launching applications, hands-free, improving customer convenience by enabling operations to be tailored to the usage scenario.
3. Equipped with a "transcription editor" for easy and smooth editing
The app is now equipped with a new dedicated editing software called "Transcription Editor" that assists in the transcription of interview contents, etc. This allows you to import recording data from an IC recorder or other device into your computer and edit the recognition results while listening to the original audio. It also has a full range of audio playback functions, including a cue function that allows you to listen to a section three seconds or ten seconds in advance or skip ahead, as well as functions to play, stop, and adjust the playback speed, allowing for smooth editing.
Going forward, we will continue to utilize our unique voice recognition technology to develop new products for general users that feature input interfaces that are simple, convenient, and appreciated.
*When using voice recognition, keep your mouth within 5cm of the microphone and speak as clearly as possible. The same applies when using an IC recorder. Set the recording mode of the IC recorder to dictation. If the microphone is far away in a meeting or lecture, the recognition rate will drop significantly. If possible, please provide an individual microphone for each person. Even if the microphone is far away, you can get good recognition results by listening to the recorded voice and repeating it (respeaking) and then having the voice recognized.
