Operate your smartphone with your voice! Advanced operation is now possible!

Speech recognition technology from Advanced Media Corporation (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Kiyoyuki Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media")AmiVoice®has been adopted by NTT DoCoMo, Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kaoru Kato; hereinafter "NTT DoCoMo") for its winter 2012 model "docomo NEXT series AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-02E" (hereinafter "SH-02E") (manufactured by Sharp).

The SH-2012E, released by NTT DoCoMo today (November 11, 29), is a smartphone equipped with the world's first*02 next-generation display "IGZO"*1, which achieves both energy saving and high image quality. One of the features of the SH-2E is the smartphone's voice operation function, which uses our voice recognition technology.AmiVoice®The smartphone is now equipped with a voice recognition function. This function uses voice recognition technology to switch to voice recognition mode by casually tapping the smartphone with your fingers, and can perform various operations such as a function to determine whether to unlock the screen from off by voice, a launcher function to launch apps installed in the smartphone, and a function to release the camera shutter by voice. For example, you can easily operate your smartphone even when you are wearing gloves or your hands are tied up, realizing a smoother operation. In addition, you can activate the camera function by voice, operate the camera by "zoom in" or "zoom out", and release the shutter by saying "shutter" or "say cheese", which helps prevent camera shake by releasing the shutter without directly touching the device, making it a useful part of advanced operation.
