AmiVoice Keyboard is a voice recognition keyboard input system that allows you to control the Japanese 109 keyboard by voice from Advanced Media Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and President: Kiyoyuki Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media"). ' has been adopted by THK Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Akihiro Teramachi) for component inspection.

THK is a pioneer in the linear motion guide component "LM Guide (Linear Motion Guide)" and is a mechanical component manufacturer that boasts a global market share of over 50% and a domestic market share of approximately 70%. It is used as an essential core component in the linear motion parts of industrial machines such as machine tools, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and industrial robots, achieving higher precision, energy savings, and faster speeds in machines.

The measurement of high-mix, small-lot products involves manually inputting measurement results for each product using handheld measuring instruments and paper, which has lagged behind automation. "AmiVoice Keyboard" was introduced to eliminate the need to change hands between measuring instruments and writing utensils and improve work efficiency through voice input.

By using voice input, there is no longer a need for handwritten input on test forms, and the spoken words can now be input immediately as data. Going paperless eliminates the need to retype data, hand over inspection forms to the next process, and manage printed materials, making not only input work but also data management work more efficient.

Measurement results, which were previously treated as temporary records or used for confirmation during the process, can now be easily stored as big data, and we anticipate their use in the future.

Currently, it has been introduced at two production plants, and we plan to expand its introduction to two more locations in the future.

The speech recognition engine is equipped with deep learning technology and boasts a high recognition rate even in high noise environments.
