Keio University's Practical Stock Research Group gave a presentation from the perspective of our company's IR representative.
Advanced Media, Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and President: Kiyoyuki Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as Advanced Media) sponsored the "10th University Student IR Presentation Contest" organized by the Student Investment Union USIC. In this contest, the Practical Stock Research Group of Keio University analyzed our company's corporate value and gave a presentation from the perspective of an IR professional.

In recent years, the Tokyo Stock Exchange has been requesting "management that takes into account the cost of capital and stock prices."*Against this backdrop, corporate investor relations (IR) activities are taking on a stronger strategic role, and we are moving towards an era where the quality of dialogue with investors is directly linked to corporate value.
In this context, this contest, in which companies and students engage in direct dialogue and analyze and disseminate actual management information, is a highly significant initiative as it provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in learning about investor relations (IR). Furthermore, we at our company decided to sponsor the event because we believe that receiving evaluations from students from a third-party perspective will allow us to examine how our current IR information is communicated and provide an opportunity to reconsider how we can better disclose information.
Furthermore, we believe that this initiative, which allows students with a strong interest in finance and investment to access actual company information and deepen their own understanding, will also contribute to the development of young talent who will lead the next generation.
This time, Team A of the Practical Stock Research Club, an investment club at Keio University, conducted a company analysis of Advanced Media and held a total of seven meetings with our IR representatives, both in person and online, in preparation for the contest. Our IR representatives explained our business operations, case studies, industry trends, financial results presentation materials, and medium-term management plans, and the students proceeded with their analysis based on this information. Furthermore, they also interviewed our Representative Director, Chairman and President, Kiyoyuki Suzuki, to deepen their understanding of our management strategy and future prospects.
On the day of the contest, the students presented clear and concise summaries of our company profile, business strengths, financial analysis, market valuation, and efforts to maximize shareholder returns, incorporating their unique perspectives and innovative proposals. For our company, it was a valuable opportunity to witness the students' high level of analytical ability and fresh perspectives.
We consider this initiative to be a valuable achievement, as it allowed students to proactively learn about our business operations and medium- to long-term direction, and to have the opportunity to analyze corporate value from multiple perspectives from an investor's point of view. For us, the questions and insights provided by the students were extremely useful in considering future investor relations activities, making this contest a valuable exchange for both parties.
■ Keio University Practical Stock Research Group Team A, Comments
Through this contest, I was able to deepen my understanding of the importance of corporate analysis and investor relations. The process of making investment decisions while discussing as a team was very meaningful and I feel that it led to practical learning.
In addition, I am extremely grateful to Advanced Media for their consistently courteous support. I will utilize this experience in my future studies and activities.
■Comment from Advanced Media IR representative
We are delighted to have been involved in an opportunity for students to proactively understand our business and medium- to long-term vision, and to cultivate their ability to assess corporate value from an investor's perspective. Furthermore, the insightful questions and perspectives offered by the students provided us with new insights and were extremely valuable in improving the quality of our investor relations activities.
Advanced Media will continue to actively promote such industry-academia collaborations, contributing to the development of young talent who will lead the next generation, and further enhancing its investor relations activities to facilitate better dialogue with investors.
