"VoXT One Published a demonstration report in the "Column"
ScribeAssist, a transcription assistance application equipped with the AI voice recognition technology AmiVoice, provided by Advanced Media Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Suzuki Kiyoyuki; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media"), was used in a performance by the university-recognized Sign Language Circle MiMi at the 67th Mita Festival, held at Keio University's Mita Campus from November 21st (Friday) to 24th (Monday), 2025.
The aim of this initiative is to provide information security to audience members, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, by displaying spoken content during the performance on a screen using ScribeAssist's real-time subtitle display function.
"ScribeAssist" is provided on "VoXT One," a platform that unifies multiple meeting minutes solutions, and has the No. 1 market share in Japan.*This is a transcription assistance application equipped with AmiVoice, an AI voice recognition system.
ScribeAssist's real-time subtitle display function was recently used in the "Let's Sign Language Chorus" event, where attendees could enjoy a sign language chorus while the chorus members explained the chorus.
The meaning of the sign language used in the project and the spoken words explaining the movements were displayed in text on the screen, allowing even those with hearing impairments or who have difficulty hearing audio to visually understand the content of the performance.
Additionally, sound collection by the wearable microphone "TALKHUB II" provided by Okamura Corporation (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Masayuki Nakamura) and the highly accurate voice recognition of "ScribeAssist" enabled accurate subtitle display even in event venues prone to ambient noise.
A demonstration report summarizing the issues before implementation, the improvements made, and evaluations from attendees regarding the use of the system at this event has been published in the "VoXT One Column." For details, please see below.
