Automate over 100 hours of inquiry response work per month, improving work efficiency and response quality

AmiVoice ISR Studio, an AI voicebot (automated telephone response) cloud service provided by Advanced Media Inc. (headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Chairman and CEO: Suzuki Kiyoyuki; hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Media"), automates telephone responses and is easy for anyone to get started with, has been introduced to FastDoctor Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "FastDoctor"), a medical support platform operator, and has made a significant contribution to improving work efficiency, response quality, and optimizing organizational operations.
Since its introduction, the service has handled approximately 2,500 (approximately 83%) of the approximately 3,000 calls received per month from pharmacies nationwide, automating more than 100 hours of telephone answering work per month.

Introduction Background
Fast Doctor's mission is to "eliminate anxiety among consumers and the burden on medical professionals." Utilizing its abundant medical resources, including approximately 5,000 doctors, the company provides a variety of medical services, including emergency house calls, online consultations, home medical support, and support for local governments.
As part of its system for supporting such a wide range of medical services, Fast Doctor has established a contact center that handles administrative tasks from medical institutions with which it has partnered for online medical consultations and is responsible for the primary reception of calls. One of the main types of inquiries is from pharmacies, which are highly specialized and cover a wide range of topics, such as drug names and whether or not there are any side effects. Due to growing societal needs and a sharp increase in the number of medical consultations that comes with the expansion of services, the number of incoming calls has exploded, and there have been times when responses could not keep up, especially during peak periods for infectious diseases and the New Year holidays, making it urgent to strengthen the call reception system and ensure business continuity.
Initially, the response was mainly handled by employees, with some external resources also being utilized, but from the perspectives of optimizing costs, response quality, and management burden, it became necessary to create a more sustainable operational system.

Key Drivers of the Adoption
In this situation, "AmiVoice ISR Studio" was introduced as a means to achieve sustainable, high-quality telephone response.
When considering the implementation, Fast Doctor compared and considered several voicebot services. They decided to adopt "AmiVoice ISR Studio" because it is equipped with a medical speech recognition engine and is highly rated for its ability to recognize medical and pharmaceutical-related terminology with high accuracy without the need for vocabulary registration.
Furthermore, in addition to its reasonable price, the flexible customization, intuitive UI, and generative AI integration that allow anyone to easily create and operate voicebot scenarios were also highly rated. Furthermore, the ability to smoothly integrate with external systems, providing high future scalability, was also a deciding factor in the adoption.

Full production deployment in one month
In addition to the clear definition of the business issues and target tasks, the high operability of the service also contributed to the extremely smooth launch of the "AmiVoice ISR Studio" PoC (Proof of Concept), which began in June 2025. During the PoC period, a medical engine was added in response to a request from FastDoctor. One month later, in July 2025, full-scale operation of the first reception desk using "AmiVoice ISR Studio" began in response to inquiries from pharmacies nationwide.
In the field of online medical consultations, using an AI voicebot to handle the initial reception of inquiries from pharmacies is an advanced initiative, and we have begun operation after taking all necessary measures from a legal and security perspective.

Effects of implementation
By September 2025, AmiVoice ISR Studio was handling approximately 2,500 of the approximately 3,000 calls received per month, automating approximately 83% of the work. Previously, it took 2-3 minutes to handle each call, reducing the workload by more than 100 hours per month.
The received information is automatically linked to the CRM, and after confirmation with the doctor, an operator will call back to respond. Since the content of the inquiry can be confirmed in advance via text, it is now possible to respond quickly after understanding the details. This has eliminated situations where the phone keeps ringing, reducing the psychological burden on operators and leading to improved work efficiency on site.
The introduction of this system has not only improved operational efficiency, but also created a more accurate and swift reception system. This has improved customer satisfaction with the entire online medical consultation process, including the experience of receiving medication, and has also reduced the burden on pharmacists by making it easier to respond to inquiries from pharmacies. This collaboration has also contributed to reducing the workload of operators and the strategic reallocation of human resources.

This initiative was highly praised for its flexible scenario design and smooth conversation design, which utilized the generative AI of "AmiVoice ISR Studio," and won the Excellence Award (Most inspired Agent Award) at FastDoctor's internal AI utilization contest. Currently, the results of the implementation have been recognized, and the system is being rolled out to other departments.

Advanced Media will continue to contribute to improving operational efficiency and productivity in the contact center industry through "AmiVoice ISR Studio."
