About the new feature "Standalone Summary"
This function allows you to create summaries using generative AI in an offline environment (without an internet connection).
If you are a ScribeAssist user, you can use it without any restrictions at no additional cost.
Enterprise companies that place a high priority on security and are restricted in their use of generative AI that requires cloud connectivity can also utilize the summarization function without the risk of data leaks. This contributes to improving the efficiency of summarizing documents containing confidential information and business productivity.

1. Select the AI to use for summarization based on your environment and purpose
The generation AI used for standalone summarization can be selected from two types: "speed-oriented," which is lightweight and fast, suitable for simple tasks, and "accuracy-oriented," which is more accurate and suitable for complex tasks and dialogues.
Depending on your environment and purpose, such as storage capacity, you can choose to install either the Lite version, which only prioritizes speed, or the Full version, which allows you to use both.
*3 If you want to switch between the Lite and Full versions after installation, you will need to reinstall the software.
2. Selectable output formats
We have prepared prompts that are ideal for creating meeting minutes, such as "Minutes," which outputs an overview, decisions, and next actions for each agenda item, and "Summary," which summarizes the main points for each agenda item.
You can also use your own custom prompts to provide more detailed instructions and create output that is suited to your company's business processes and formats. Custom prompts support history checking and favorite registration, allowing you to efficiently create summaries in the same format.
3. Compare past summary results side by side
You can select two of the last five summary results and compare them side by side.
You can also check the prompts used in the summary, which is useful for reviewing and optimizing the prompts.
4. Available at no additional charge
It is available to existing ScribeAssist users at no additional charge. There are no limits on usage or the number of times you can summarize, so it can be used in a wide range of business situations.
5. Summary methods can be selected according to the purpose and specifications
In addition to the new "Standalone Summary" feature, you can continue to use the previously available cloud summary and summaries on the web app "Minutes Editor." You can choose to use the three summary functions depending on your PC specifications and purpose. Please see below for detailed differences between each summary function.

Other version upgrades
■You can now choose whether to remove filler.
You can now choose whether to remove fillers (unnecessary words) such as "eh" and "ano" from the recognition results. If you choose not to remove them, you can also surround the fillers with [ ].
■You can now change the microphone and speaker during voice recognition
Previously, it was not possible to change the microphone or speaker after recording had started, so if you started recognition by mistake or wanted to change devices midway through, you had to stop recognition. Now, you can change devices even while recognition is in progress, reducing the hassle of reconfiguring and allowing you to complete the process in one file.
■The ruby (furigana) in the pop-up subtitles is now displayed more accurately.
The ruby in the pop-up subtitles was previously added to the kanji that was transcribed. With this change, the ruby is now added based on the pronunciation at the time of transcription, so the ruby is now displayed more accurately.
■ We have reviewed the various UIs and changed them to a more user-friendly design.
- The design of the menus and buttons has been revised to make them easier to understand.
