In the 21st century, many service businesses will focus their attention on the field of education, medicine, social welfare, and the environment. The quality of these services will depend on the quality of communication. Until recently, communication between humans and computers had been only a dream, but now, Advanced Media Inc. has taken the first step in putting this dream into practice with AmiVoice.
This is the Human Communication Integration (HCI) that AMI aims. Multimodal technologies, i.e. combining graphical interface and voice interface, will realize such systems like “conversation understanding”, “individual identification”, and “emotional understanding”. Please keep your eyes on HCI and AMI.
